my rug needs a roomate...and what we did this weekend!

when i am looking for

oatmeal&rust inspiration, another

place to be, is with

Donna at Funky Junk Interiors.

her designs are notably rustic and ruff hewn.

 she definitely plays with the natural

values of color that i love...

when i visited her yesterday... and today...i found a kindred spirit!

 transition...i think i may have Funky Junk bones!

(note the unfinished wall behind ~ soon to be

tongue and groove pinewood, painted warm white).

i'm not certain how the purple (a top the window), eeked into the

photo...i think it's a tiny gift of sunshine from God

or maybe a little PacN'west purple rain!

Donna added some blue and sage

when she brought the outside ~ in!

the only thing missing from her photos...

is my living room rug!

yesterday, Mr D and i worked

on the guy's landing place...

all of the painting is done...were ready

for the tongue and groove pine...

we're still married (ha!) and talking.
