time off...and a little sprinkle of French sugar...

it's time for me to take a few days away

from 34th street...firstly, it's an

American holiday weekend,

and secondly, blogger is continuing

to give me grief!  i am missing the ability

of making comments to most of you...and at the

moment, i cannot see my followers...

the photographs are from a pretty

little French site.

~ visit here ~

their sweet interpretation of "Americana"

makes me smile.

they are featuring some pretty things for

those that live the beach cottage life.

this collage is making me anxious for Summertime!

***

all of their designs have a sprinkle of French sugar,

~ (figuratively speaking) ~

oh...by the way...they do sell French sugar!

Enjoy your visit to Blanc et Caramel ,

and have the loveliest of weekends!

~ safe travels ~

Dear Blogger friends...and hugs for Carla and Alex!

I did visit yesterday. I tried to leave comments. The sad thing is that I was able to comment on the sites not affiliated with blogger.

I will stop complaining about blogger, because there are much bigger issues happening in our online community.

I'm not certain that you know that our friends Carla and Alex at Hammer's and High Heel's had their neighborhood and home hit by a tornado. It happened the same day as the one that hit Joplin, MO. Carla and Alex are the cutest couple. They live in Minnesota. Both are hard workers professionally and at home. They have spent so much time renovating their beautiful home this year. Much of their hard work was undone in an instant by the storm.

Carla and Alex...I just want to remind you that you are in my thoughts. Your neighborhood sounds like the perfect example of true human spirit in difficult times.

~I also send a shout out to Starbucks for offering shelter, power to charge cell phones, and wireless! It makes me proud that this company is from my home town!

 Hugs, Energy and Prayers...
