thirty~one, January, nineteen hundred and eighty three...

i became a mother on this day, twenty nine years ago.

she arrived, bright and beautiful! she melted my heart!  

ohhhhh...those freckles...a million angel kisses from above!

she fills the world with sunshine!

she insisted on doing her own hair and makeup on her wedding day!

she has a confident, naturally sophisticated style! 

she worked in county government and for the college success foundation. she was on

 the board for an organization that purchased homes for homeless woman with 

children. their mission, to give them shelter long enough to become self sufficient.

this past summer, she became a mother.  Mr D and i were very nearby.

it was like this day twenty~nine years ago, that ray of sunshine!

the very same rush of love!  my sunshine was holding her sunshine!

my sunshine is now a mom!

she and her love, Jason delivered dear Holland Grace.

it's the most wonderful feeling to watch your child become a parent.

Chrislyn is a wonderful mother!  

time spent with my two sunshine girls is living beyond my childhood fairy tale dreams!
