f r e n c h b r e a d o n f r i d a y !

l e s b i j o u x L o v e l i e s !

i think i may touched upon it before . . .

. . . this little history of me.

yesterday, Chrislyn asked my opinion about some new

earrings she purchased at the Nordstrom Half Yearly.

she looked beautiful in her new Kate Spade glitter studs!

they made her blue eyes pop and shine!

( just what a perfect piece of fashion jewelry bijoux de mode is expected to do.)

i immediately placed the studs with a crisp white shirt, true blue jeans, barefoot with pearl toes.

( off to pleasure. day dream. that's where a piece of fashion is supposed to take you.)

an old passion of mine . . .

. . . a career before bringing my babies to this world!
( fashion jewelry buyer for Frederick & Nelson / Marshall Field & Co )

it's past passions that have shaped me.

it is so lovely and welcome when past passions resurface.

. . . so very welcome to my whole self.

this morning, i woke to . . .

{ Tamera's post on "accessory display"}

the icing on my ( i'm currently avoiding sugar) cake!

every girl needs her own bar accessoire!

l a  b i j o u t e r i e!

b i j o u s !

b i s o u s!

 jewels . . .  kisses . . .

is it a coincidence the words are so close, en français?

  1. These earrings are so cool. And with a white shirt and jeans, that would be lovely. :~)

  2. Lynne, I love big earrings...not the hanging down kind. I do not like heavy earrings they aren't meant to be worn long periods. I had a big hammered gold pair they were light weight and looked fabulous with white shirts. I used to sell jewelry for Aubrey Creations...once when I was laid off from my job. LOL. It was a fashion thing,we had to dress nice to give the in home parties. I have given most of mine away. LOL. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  3. Beautiful earrings and the color is so pretty…love the sparkle!

  4. O~la la So very pretty & sparkling.

    Have a lovely weekend.

  5. Love the glitter cut to the stone and so see them sportingly also with tattered worn jeans and a thin white v-neck Tee and a white linen blazer jacket.
I so use to shop at Frederick and Nelson I had one up the street from me within walking distance, I remember buying my first 100% Cashmere beige sweater saved and saved for it, well put away extra cash is more like it to justify its pricey $ tag.

I was hooked on the finer feel of sweater wear from then on.
Love the chunky jewelry photo, so commercial like in a great fashion magazine add.

See you soon girl, another great post, tell your daughter her earrings are great!
