date night at the Peach O Rama!

one of my favorite places to shop is 

The Metropolitan Market.

 this time of year they have 
 a sweet promotion called...

the promo has it's own website

and peachy market bags!
on your way to the perfect peaches, 
the bakery is filled

with sweet peach whimsy!

but the star of the show is...

right here, center stage in the 

the produce department,

with measured sweetness!

Degrees Brix (symbol °Bx) is the sugar content of an aqueous solution.

One degree Brix is 1 gram of sucrose in 100 grams of solution and represents the strength of the solution as percentage by weight (% w/w) (strictly speaking, by mass). If the solution contains dissolved solids other than pure sucrose, then the °Bx is only approximate the dissolved solid content. The °Bx is traditionally used in the wine, sugar, fruit juice, and honey industries.

my sporting life...

i have a little secret...

i love football!

 i'm not real crazy about the pros...

but i love the college experience. i enjoy the game,

 but i LOVE the excitement, the energy,

the joy and the music that surrounds the game!

one of my favorite reads (and movie) is 

The Blind Side.  it's not an epic...but it's a story about  a
MOM...Leigh Anne Tuohy...(who just happens to be an interior designer!)
Sandra Bullock won the academy award for
her performance. the experience of making the movie inspired her to
 become a mom. at the beginning of the book / movie

there is a monologue that really hit home with me.
here is just a snippet!
