Chrome got his name by the luck of the draw!

the Dumbass Partners, Steve Coburn and Perry Martin were dining with their wives...

they all placed names in a hat, and asked a waitress to pick!

(the other name choices?  Lucky at Love, Big Chapter or ...

...Seabisquik.)

hello lovelies!

i hope that your week is going well!

last night, i spent the evening with my dear friend, Alice!

you remember.

she is mother of the groom!

( Jay's best friend's wedding!)

only a month away!

there was a little table centerpiece design dilemma that we offered to solve!

we created a prototype with various options, and snapped and "texted" away!

the bride graciously chose her favorite option!

Al and i shared feelings of high five happy and relief at the moment of approval!

( we have shared those feelings and others, many times before.)

a simple problem solved celebration...

...me with a glass wine...Al  with a beer.

together, we reminisced...

 we visualized...

Anna and Ty's evening...only a month away.

i can't show you what we did, last night.

(it's all "underwraps" until the special day!)

by now you might realize that you have been peeking into the venue!

quintessential Seattle industrial chic!

 it's time for me to go romantic!

stuff just pops into my head! 

i can't help it!

Ty and Anna's wedding place once was a very special bookstore!

Fresh Strawberry Ice Cream Float!

Ingredients

U.S.

Metric

Conversion chart

• 2 cup(s) strawberries, hulled
• 1/2 cup(s) pure maple syrup
• 1 pint(s) (French) vanilla ice cream
• Unflavored seltzer water, chilled (I use our Soda Stream water.)
• Whipped cream (optional) (Tinted pink for extra decadence.)

Directions

1. Put strawberries and maple syrup in a blender and puree until just slightly chunky to form strawberry syrup.
2. Scoop ice cream into 4 tall glasses, then top with the strawberry syrup, seltzer water, and whipped cream (if using).

i am a person that works well under stress pressure!

a little pressure gives me great m o m e n t u m!

most of you know that i have been sorting and purging since March.

i have to be honest...

...i had to stop for awhile.

we have lived in this house for almost 35 years!

( July 1979 )

i saved way too many mementos...i'm an arts and crafts person.

( i'll use that piece of pink string one day! )  

need i say more?

i am back in the mode, and ready to roll!

the next 20 days are the longest of the year!

by far, June is always my most productive month!

this past weekend, Mr D and i worked our buns off!

we're on a roll...

...until it's done! 

i will take sweet moments for coffee and visits to you and your lovely "spots" and places...
