it's still a bit chilly here in the PacNWest. this morning,

before work, i made a quick little trip to backyard fuchsia bush. 
(wow, i did not prune it back  far enough last Fall.)

this plant is older than me.  it began as a  tiny clipping from my grandmother's garden.
(do you see? the SUN is rising and shining!)

 how easy is life... now that we have embraced canning jars for their 

multi functional qualities?

i won't be posting again until Monday! i have some major 

catching up and cleaning to do. next week is going to be a busy one.

i said yes one to many times...LOL.

my son, Jay will be coming home next weekend!
 we haven't seen him since Christmas!
we are going to hit some of Seattle's furniture and home lifestyle stores.

we will also be doing a wee bit of celebrating! i am going to try a new apple cake recipe that i found!

today was supposed to be Wednesday's wrap.
the internet at 34th street has been VERY unpredictable
recently. this morning, it could not be accessed at all.
i am at work now...and just thought that i would apologize.
i miss you...hope to be in touch with morning coffee in hand soon!

our "sitting" update, growing up with girls at "dear lillie", and a winner....

yesterday, Mr D and I sat with  Holland Grace while her Mommy and 

Daddy went out to brunch.  it was the very first time that Mommy 

and Daddy have left the house together, without little berry blue eyes. 

she was a perfect little angel. we had so much fun playing, hugging and

smooching her precious little face. 

Holland will soon be standing...

i am hoping to win this wonderful growth chart for her library room.
