"take to the highway won't you lend me your name"
in my previous post i mentioned that we have returned to routine around here.
the demands of July, August and the first week of September made blogging
a little more difficult. my trips to blogland were like being on a whirlwind tour.
time to visit, but often, little time to comment.
"your way and my way seem to be one and the same"
on Sunday, the deck was completed at precisely three o'clock.
just
in
time
to
jump into the shower
and
drive out...
"mamma don't understand it"
"she wants to know where i've been"
...to the country for a photo session with the "kids" and the "grands".
"i'd have to be some kind of natural born fool"
we departed the new wood for a late afternoon of old wood charm at the
not so abandoned Mayflower Dairy Farm in Fredrickson.
"to want to pass that way again"
this location is a favorite place for photographers.
there were several photographers at work on the old farm when we arrived.
as you know late afternoon is "perfect light"!
"but I could feel it"
remnants of visiting 12's!
GO HAWKS!
"on a country road"
the grands finally pooped out after the final shots at the end of this country road.
the photographer was so pleased with the outcome of the session...
"because i could feel it, child, yeah"
"on a country road"
"walk on down, walk on down, walk on down"
"walk on down, walk on down a country road"
"country road"
"walking on a country road"
" la la la la la la la la la "
( all along...singing sweet baby James...in my mind. )
oh no!
now i'm onto...
in my mind i'm goin' to Carolina!
better git!
...withLove!
