Don't you love it? I just had the best Mother's day ever. Spent the whole weekend with my girls. They gave me flowers, treats, and made lunches . I told them we should have gotten our scrabble game out like old times, when they were young. Hope your day was good too, xoxo,Susie

I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day, Lynne. Getting gifts is so fun, isn't it? I got a gift certificate at Pier 1 Imports (my favorite shop), a lovely scented candle, and chocolate from my kids! We are blessed, indeed.
Sometimes it's not even the gifting, it's the packaging that gets to our hearts. Thank you sweet friend for taking the time to visit my place where my home inspires found pieces and created from them. The lantern was a find of finds and I am waiting for some quieter days ahead to get going on the lantern project...Wiring it, and then hanging it in a place it lights it's beauty, in fact I don't even mind seeing it sit around here. It inspires what I love about weathered and worn pieces of iron.
