"staycation" is over.
Mr D is at work as i write.
after a big breakfast at 7:30, Jay finished packing and departed for Boise at 9.
i just finished stripping all the beds! the first of many loads is in.
linens will be washing and airing all day.
the lavender is harvested.
journal plans for next year?
need more "Grosso"!
the lilies, like the Fourth of July fireworks, are spent,
and once again an anticipation...for 2015.
it's berry season!
(from yesterday's farmers market!)
yum and YUM!
hellooo Hydrangea!
( i missed you last year!)
come inside and become one of many memories
of our amazing Summer 2014!
and to think...it's only just begun!
Summer on!

ReplyDeleteLynne,
ReplyDeleteI've never seen the hydrangea that color before, so pretty. Isn't it great all the berries we get to eat during the summer months? I'm with you......laundry, one of my worst things to do.
love,
~Sheri
by the way, thank you for the birthday wishes for Nel, Lynne. It means so much to me.
ReplyDeletelove you,

Lynne,
ReplyDeleteJust got caught up with all your last week's posts... So much fun, so much love, so much glamour, and today so much wonderful fresh berries and hydrangeas. Loved everything...made my heart happy.
Have a great week recovering from your staycation.

I am embracing this summer for all it's worth since I go back to school on August 25! I am almost afraid to open up my school email - I don't want to look at it yet!!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy every bit of your summer dear friend. Are you getting ready for the Link Party starting this Friday? Please let me know because a few people have dropped out, still leaving me with 50 participants which is AWESOME, but I need to make sure everyone is still on board! HAVE FUN! Anita
I missed this post somehow… that Hydrangea is amazing, I try to turn mine blue and purple but mostly they're pink… Oh well…
